In our VBS space adventure, the Impostor represents the enemy — the devil — who tries to sneak around, blend in, and trick God’s people. Just like in the game Among Us, the Impostor looks like a regular crewmate on the outside, but their mission is completely different.

While our Crewmates are working together, learning God’s Word, and completing their tasks, the Impostor is trying to distract, deceive, and destroy what God is doing. Jesus told us in John 10:10 that the enemy comes “to steal, kill, and destroy,” but He came to give us life — and that’s the whole point of our mission.
At each station, one kid will secretly be chosen as the Impostor with a top secret mission to complete without being discovered. The rest of the crew will have to stay alert, work together, and use wisdom to figure out who’s pretending to be on their team.

If the crew guesses correctly, Crewmates win. If they don’t, the Impostor completes their mission — just like how the enemy wins when we’re not paying attention.
